The top five finishers in the Daily Beast's surveys, starting with No. 1: Tallahassee, Fla.; Boston, Mass.; Portland, Ore.; Boulder, Colo.; and Detroit, Mich.
Albany came out ahead of four other New York cities that finished in the top 30: Manhattan (No. 8), Ithaca (22), Binghamton (27) and Buffalo (28).
