Yup, next to Chauncey Billups he's certainly the best player in the league.

P.S. Whatever you & Crazyl are toking on, pass it on down.

P.S^2. Mentioning Iverson & defense in the same sentence also seems a little bizarre, but what do I know.

Rondo will be way more well rounded than AI and probably a more effective player in that he will make his teams win more games than AI did.

Rondo only plays great (so far in the playoffs) at home. On the road he can't hit a jumpshot to save his life so far. I love Rondo as much as the next guy, especially since he plays great defense and is one of only two people in the league who can guard Tony Parker, but he will probably never be an all-star. Does anyone know the stat on Rondo's hands? Supposedly he has some of the largest hands for a player his size, which certainly helps his defense and stealing ability.

If Rondo could develop a consistent jumper, a little floater, and some alley-oops (to Garnett) he will be a very nice complementary player for a long time. He's showing signs of all of these things -- but will not be an all-star, especially with Rose and maybe some other all-star caliber players coming to the East in this year's draft.

AI is a proven team killer, he dominates the ball too much and way too small to have any major impact on making a team a title contender. NBA is for big guys now including guards.

Still gets many boards on the road, and its not just him its everyone on the road so far in the playoffs. Once that changes, hes a severe threat for opponents.

AI isnt much of a team player though, and his teams never learns to play without having the need to depend on him from start to finish. Reason why he has never had a title yet and probably never will, even with such high super star/all star status around him.

talentwise Rondo is a beast, may be a better player than AI in that his knowledge of the game is more than just trying to put the ball in the basket.

AI took 4 scrubs to the NBA finals. Your hero James did the same thing but when you look at the two teams AI's team was much worse. Do you remember AI in his prime beating the Lakers the first game in the finals and almost winning game two single handedly? Rondo got to be in the bottom 15 in point guards in this league. JJ do you bet like your talent evaluations skills picks talent? NO wonder you are down to betting 15 a game. My goodness. Rondo has one good game and you forget about the other 14. Kinda like you do with James.

Iverson only cares about scoring, and if DESPERATE, kicks it out to someone else. Wonderful player talent wise, but I wouldnt trust him winning it all for my team.

iverson only cares about scoring yet every stat he has is better than your youngster. my goodness, at least wait till your boy makes an all star team. lets talk about it in 3 or 4 years. for now, rondo is a little bit better than average and doesnt start at the point on half the teams in the nba. i do like the kids game though, dont get me wrong. he fits in well at boston. as for no rings...malone and barkley were horrible too i guess.
