This has nothing to do with them playing football. There still isn't a season until the sides come to an agreement.

Yup still have to come to an agreement

U.S. District Court Judge Susan Richard Nelson has granted NFL players their motion for a preliminary injunction, therefore lifting the lockout that was imposed by owners on March 11.

So officially there is no lock-out, but there is still no agreement either - this still doesnt mean that there will actually be a season yet though does it ?

It has a lot to do with them playing because of the no stay on the ruling. The judge today lifted the lockout with no stay and if the court of appeals doesn't grant them an appeal they will be required by law to open for business.

And since this case is purely about money and not about justice, we should have an answer soon.

At least it's something even though they still have a long way to go.

So now is it in players or owners hands? Do the coaches fall under players or owners side or both?
