If he, Dwight Howard, and eventually Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin and others continue the trend and go to NY or some other "prime" market, the NBA might as well disband. If you have no chance to keep your impact players in Indiana, Utah, Denver, Sacramento, Cleveland, etc., why even be a fan? In the last 25 years exactly 7 franchises have won NBA titles, and two of those (Houston and San Antonio) only won because players like Olajuwon, Duncan, and Robinson realized that there was more to life than living in the huge media markets. Doesn't seem like any of today's stars feel the same way.

All the Knicks need is a good point guard and some big bodies to bang the boards.

I wish after My Magic fire Van Gundy's ass, and get rid of Jemeer Nelsons over rated ass, Chris Paul will consider coming to Orlando, and helping Dwight Howard, or after next season his ass will be gone 2.

This may seem unrealistic but I heard their was a good chance he would go to the pistons. I doubt it, knicks seem more realistic to me.

The Knicks will need help from the new CBA if they are going to have a chance at Paul, unless he's willing to take significantly less than max money.

um Blake Griffin is already in big market. Is LA not big enough? Also what is considered 'big' market guys. Atlanta has largest and busiest airport in world and biggest city in South, but yet has never had these big name players or teams.

And on side note I think Boston has prepared themselves to land Dwight Howard in offseason even after #18 champ ring.

Paul is the main course in New Orleans and the team is built on him (he's the Captain). He goes to New York he plays 3rd fiddle behind Marsh-Melo and Stoodlemyer. The Knicks are a train wreck, and he now knows his team can go farther than the Knicks, and they can pay him more.

Clippers are positioning themselves to get him. That's why they dumped Baron's contract for a high draft pick.

Chris Paul, seriously would complete that knicks team. Had Chauncey played and Amare was healthy, the series easily could of been extended to 6 games.

If CP3 went to the knicks it would be game over. He is by far and away the best point guard in the NBA and that is what the knicks need.
