Sure their volume is down, but they will be fine without US involvement. Actually now they no longer have to worry about multiple US processors.

Sure they will take a big hit, but they will be fine and now tournaments overseas will be that much more popular

Very good post about the poker star numbers, I saw those numbers today on egaming news or on an email. I wouldn't be surprised if business booms for many poker sites throughout the summer like jj just posted, especially for European facing poker sites. Even in the US we are not going to see the loss of numbers expected, I would imagine, even a company as big as espn said they are still covering world series of poker.

I wouldn't be surprised to see alot of the poker media come through this.

Down a bit but that's still pretty damn good, last time I played in it there was almost 9K people.

Don't kid yourself, they were primarily a US facing poker site and it hurt them tremendously. They have had 10,000+ in that tournament regularly.

They can adapt and still be very profitable but they will never have the 100,000+ players on the site at peak times as in the last 3-4 years.

Off course it's not dead, that's why they made a deal with the DOJ so they could keep their non-US business.

I dont think that they made a deal at all. The US couldnt have done anything about their World market

Don't they face a bunch of lawsuits? That's bigger problem imo than the number of users declining.
