The only commonality between Barry Bonds and Jose Bautista is they both got drafted by THE Pittsburgh Pirates. It is not like Jose had regular bats when he averaged between 12-16 hrs. Only once did he top 401 at bats in a year and that was in 2007.

we can also see an edge in home runs at toronto's dome than pittsburgh's park.

However I gotta say the last Toronto team that blasted home runs at the pace they did last year was the 2000 team when people like shawn green, carlos delgado and jose canseco blasted 40 home runs all under suspicion or admitted to doing roids. Not to mention Roger Clemens was also on that team.

not only that but this year he has only played in 39 of 46 games

so in a year where the steroid era is even further in the rear view mirror as evidenced by pujols drop in numbers and the overall lack of scoring this guy again went from a nobody to an all world player while the immortal pujols looks like a shell of himself. all because of a tweak in his swing. gimme a fukkin break. must of got the last of dr galea's supply before he got popped
