Guarantee he's back next season. Why? Because Phil Jackson and Doc Rivers are both gonna take off next season. So the Knicks will keep D'Antoni around for another year, and then in 12-13, they will fill out the roster and try to draw either Phil or Doc back into the league. Both Phil and Doc played for the Knicks, so that gives them some type of edge. That and they'll probably have a stacked roster in a huge market.
It will be an attractive job. D'Antoni coaches next year, and in 12'-13' they go for 1. Phil Jackson 2. Doc Rivers 3. Jeff Van Gundy/Mark Jackson

Please, I have been on here adamantly calling out Kobe Bryant for not being able to win without a big man. Kobe had 40 win seasons and wanted to come to here to Chicago before Pau came to town.
