SBR is still the king of the gambling boards

Decided to stop by this AM to say hello to all of my old friends, feels like I haven't been here in ages.

For those of you that don't know me, I was killing it at SBR before most of you figured out how to steal cash from your mommy to gamble with. I've been around all of the different sports handicapping boards in my time, even own my own forum now, but the amount of time, effort, cash, and experience that goes into SBR is unmatched. Not like you need to hear it from me, but keep up the great work guys. Tons of respect from one of the original winners here.

BTW, JJ, you still suck at gambling, and I'd still whoop that ass any day of the week. Don't be scared homie!

The forum business is a very difficult business to get up and going. To borrow a phrase from my esteemed colleague at another forum its nearly statistically impossible. If anyone peaks back at 2005 in the SBR archives they will see this forum was very slow as well. For a new forum to gain critical mass it will probably need either a huge investment or some level of legalization.

For 129, it's still a little early for me, but I do like Jake Shields as far as value in the number, and I think Nate Diaz is solid @ -120.

Thanks John, was even kind of slow when I was here 3-4 years ago. Nothing like it is today. Absolutely amazing progress you guys have made since '05.

sbr is def the best. love it here. well organized. well run. people that run sbr are pretty fair too. and last BUT NOT LEAST. i like the fact that they are willing to help us solve any problem with the books incase we ever have one. havent had one yet and dont plan on it. but its nice to know we have quality people to help us
