    Brandon Roy
Such a shame what happened to the guy

Aside from the comments this week griping about playing time has been nothing but a class act.

Let his frustration get the best of him

Probably will never be the same player again. Real fukkin shame

yeah, but he shoulda kept his mouth shut instead of making a controversy
and putting his coach in a tough spot with fans.
let's see how Roy does tonight.. if he is still clutch money.

It really is a shame what happened to his career. Two bum wheels and will never be the elite scorer he once was.

didn't grant hill go through similar situation. This year he was quite good. Maybe Roy can still be good in the future. Well Portland does hope so.

Roy was a superstar on track to definitely become a Hall of Famer, and maybe even reach Icon status. High character player, who Kobe deemed the hardest for him to guard. Roy brought a winning culture back to Portland, and if he doesnt recover, I will never forget that. His 5 seasons in Portland have enough highlights to last a lifetime, and its sad it had to happen to one of the loyal/humble superstars (Rose, Durant, Roy etc.)

The prognosis on Roy's future doesnt look good, but I will say this, if anybody can recover it would be him. Roy's had 6 knee surgeries to date I believe, so he definitely has experience on his side. While he may always have some pain, when youve had an injury for so long, the body will often compensate another part of your body to eliminate pain. Often times it may cause more injury, but if his body adjusts right, he could have a couple more good years left in him. Dejuan Blair is a perfect example of someone whos body has adjusted very well to his injury.

Anyway Portland should start Roy. I like bringing Wesley Matthew off the bench in this series, because DAL is a rare team whos back up 2 guard is better than their starter.
