And what were they the year before and before that? I don't mean to be sarcastic, but how does this info helped in term of capping this game? In what situation would you take them or fade them?

I don't really think any of the previous years matter besides last year and this is why. Public perception with the cards are that they have a great offense and great pitching....and they do. This is why they are over priced(IMO) every single game. Obviously, you're not going to want to fade them in every single situation, but it does look like fading them on the road is good idea with still being -200s

The Twins, Yankees, Rangers all had a worse -200 ML records in 2010 than the Cardinals and all of them were in the playoffs. Huge favorites is a hard way to make a profit in baseball.
