As you may have noticed, the forum was offline for a period. We identified a security incident to Sportsbook Review Forum and took the site offline as a containment step while we investigated.
We wanted to make sure the system and site were restored and secured before bringing things back online and you will see that we are requiring all forum users to reset their password as a precautionary step.

some of u know i got a new Dell laptop thursday , came with Vista Home. i have a legit copy of winxp sp2 , if i reformat hd on laptop then install winxp would that void my 1yr warranty from Dell?

Check if your copy of Vista is downgradable. I've got a Dell with Vista Business and i could downgrade to XP sp2, but i like the vista for now.

laptop came with 2 disks; 1 drivers & 1 reinstall. the reinstall is Dell's own branded Vista Home , not a retail version. I sent an email to Dell asking
my winxp is a retail disk

It shouldn't void your hardware warranty but any support contract you may have with them regarding software would in all likelihood be void.
