I Have received calls regularly from the place but after this poker fiasco the 'agent' has stepped it up.
"Just a little hundred, brother, just a little hundred. . ." Back to back calls this weekend and on Sunday's version, I decided to see what if anything he might venture as to the poker issue. Conversation- a true dialogue- went on for ~30 minutes. Some of his talking points:
"We are not that stupid"
"They messed by buying a bank in The U.S."
"We have been in business since 1985; we are going nowhere"
"Processors are fine"
"We will get you your money instantly if you request a payout"
"Let me check with my supervisor. Yes! WE can accept your. . ." (I didn't ask)
"In Costa Rica everything is perfectly fine, nothing to worry about"
To which I responded: "Fine, eh? I call that bold talk for a one-eyed fat man!" Well, no, not really, but it ran through my mind.
I suppose word moves around about losers.
(Not really, over the last eight months- the entirety of my gambling time- I believe that, neglecting the virtual casino, I am dead on even. And I had those turned off months ago
)
Overall what I found odd was the unrelenting high pressure that he put on. I have not experienced that with any calls from a sports book. Thirty minutes for a guy who from the beginning made it clear that he is not sending any money to Costa Rica for a while? (I'm not withdrawing either.)
The fellow seemed like a decent chap but compared to other calls it seemed a little odd.
