That's usually the case. 1-2 guys portraying 20.

I don't think they make much. There are too many services out there and the money being spent on buying picks is probably spread out.

I read last year in one of those Las Vegas handicapping newspapers that it was estimated that about 100 million dollars was spent on buying picks world wide. The # of dollars gambled world wide is in the 100 billion range every year.

The cappers that do not gamble pocket 20k a year and the ones that do wish they never did.

The real money comes when you know someone involved in the game. Like if you are Scoop Jardine's uncle and Cuse is -9 your nephew has an obligation to turnover a few late passes to win by 5.... Point shaving is where it's at.

If they are any good at handicapping (most are not) they make what would be earned at a part-time job, not much at all. No it definitely is not their only job, if it was they would not be able to pay their bills or even eat. Most people do not realize that these guys actually do not have many customers, if any at all.

I think the same thing applies to stock pickers...if these guys were so good they wouldn't need to sell their picks.

No way! The only ones that may be making more money than the average bear are the scumbag, scaming mass marketers, like Kelso, Wayne Root, Fiest, etc. who use mass marketing and get some suckers along the way. These guys are all losers and couldn't handicap and win to save their lives.

                      A good, consistent,conservative capper....about $50,000/yr that breaks down to about $7.50/hr.
                      A good tout that you've never heard of....about $30,000/yr
                      A scammer/marketing whore tout....about $1.5 million/yr

                        You should ask John Harrison.
If you get an answer that should tell all.....
