Seriously why is the NBA putting a 103 year old man who can't even see out on the floor to try to call an NBA professional game? Is David Stern trying to ruin the league?

Is it me or does it seem like every league wants old as dirt officials out there in stead of guys who can actually keep up with the lightning fast action. No way Bavetta knows what team has the ball at any time thats why he stands at half court most of the game

I always wonder if he is going to die of a heart attack during a game. Can't be good to run that much when you are that old

Its hard to get new guys to fix games. Some guys have principles. I remember last year on ESPN2 Grant Hill said it is common knowledge around the league that if the league wants a series to go seven games then Dick Bevetta is their go to guy.
