I hardly ever bet NHL and don't know much about hockey, but
Isn't Boston -112 a good play for Monday?
LB? Rod? Paco? CanuckG? DG? Anyone?

I personally would not recommend that at all NC. BOS team captain out due to "dehydration" for the last game and projected out today and the overall Bruins in confusion and disarray. Try it if you wish but I think MON at home is a good wager at the right line today. Ciao

Montreal has the best home crowd in the whole NHL. Add that and the fact that they just beat Boston twice in their own building, not sure how you can play Boston.

I agree, no reason to play Boston laying any juice here at all. Maybe if they were +120 or better, but otherwise I would say stay away.

UNBELIEVABLE. How could the coach let this happen? I mean Jaysus.
Must win for a great team but Chara is that important imo. Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. I'm on the Pens.

Get Chara some gatorade it's the fukkin playoffs. I personally like the Bruins today...the 'home crowd' can only be a negative with all the hype and adrenaline the Habs will feel I can see them taking some dumb penalties right away without actually thinking properly. Maybe a 1st period play on the Bruins..

Despite the fact that I despise the Habs, I have to agree with everything you say here. Montreal will be tough to beat in their own building after going up 2-0 against Boston.

I would go against this because MON is a well disciplined team. I see BOS panicking, getting physical and getting a lot of penalties called giving MON lots of PP opportunities.

Not sure on side tonight, personally just going to ride out my Habs Series bet at +190. I will play under again though, worst case is a push I think.

False. Still a game time decision but everything is pointing toward Chara playing tonight. Just this morning, Claude Julien said himself "As we speak, it's looking good".

Because Boston is the better team thats why their favored. When the Bruins take Game 3 tonight, Game 4 they'll be favored again and will be the biggest game of this series.
Go Bruins, don't fukk me you pricks

Then take them for the series now. Better team will win in the long run anyway right....
Montreal just got lucky the first two games.
Boston will sweep the next 4.

I never said they'll win the series, I said they'll win Game 3 (I'm only saying that cause I bet them). Did I say Montreal got lucky? Don't reword what I said.

Thanks D3, but Im not sure they are the better team. BOS may hv a better reg season record, but for the past two seasons, if I'm not mistaken, they hv played each other 12X, BOS has only won twice. So, I'm now really confused. Could it be a "trap" line by the books?

Team that scores first is likely to win this one, 5Dimes has that at -250, a little too much juice for me, but that is the key in this series. Bruins need to withstand the storm and get on the board first or they are cooked.

Going to keep riding the habs until they prove I should do otherwise, but agree that the home crowd could have a reverse effect with all of the pressure on the team. It's certainly happened before.

People should forget about Chara and if he's going to play or not. Take MON. If Chara does play he's probably likely to play similarly to Game One in which I accurately described him as a seven foot pylon. As for BOS playing for their lives, tell me they weren't already doing that in Game Two in front of their fans that began booing them. BOS is a disaster from Chara throughout the team and the likelihood of them implementing some miraculous strategy in Quebec tonight is laughable. Good luck NC.
