Banks giving people being foreclosed on 2 grand so they won't loot the house!

Anyone see these stories on t.v.where the banks that hold people's mortgages that are going into foreclosure are giving the occupants 2k as a bribe so they don't ransack and loot the house.They call it a turn in the keys compliance.It showed some of the houses that former foreclosed upon owners lived in and they looked like gutted out crackhouses.These were very nice suburban townhouses and such.All the copper wiring was yanked out,staircases,sinks and toilets were removed and it looked like they invited a rock group over who got pissed off because someone put brown M&M's in their bowl.

It's sort of like the lion tamer rewarding the lion that just bit him by giving him a treat so he keeps his mind off of mauling you.hehe!

Unbelievable what is going on right now. Banks are bailing out their customers and the gov is bailing out the banks and the rest of us pay for it.

yah I buy houses, and almost closed on one, when the next week the owner gutted it, and it looked sharp when I almost closed, good for me though becuase I got the house a lot cheaper when I renegotiated, but just having to put forth the effort to bring it back to its condition previously, was like treading water. It sounds like a raw deal, but in the end, the banks really do win, you guys would not believe the difference I paid in this particular case, lets just say well over 2k.
