So this is my conspiracy theory...I don't know if it's actually true, or it's just making myself feel better during the losses, and shitty picks that I've made. Anyways, I noticed a lot of the top MLB cappers in years past, with the exception of a few, have been seriously struggling so far. April is normal, it's a hard month, but May is turn it around time. With almost half the month over, not too many guys have turned it around, and even if they did, they're sitting right around 500. Here's where my conspiracy theory comes in. I was watching the weather channel tonight, waiting on the local weather, and they said that most of the country has been experiencing odd weather patterns. Most of the country, specifically the Northeast has generally been colder than normal. They also went on to mention that the old quote "April Showers brings May Flowers", isn't really true this year, and most of the rain is coming in May. Which, in turn, will make it a much longer allergy season for many. So, could the abnormal weather have more to do with the inconsistent MLB season than we're thinking so far?
