The Heat is ON! : Status of Industry Wide Payouts for US customers
Are you having any problems? I am having problems getting funds (a couple grand) (any method) from A+ books. I am of the opinion this is a processor issue (at least for this particular book).
My patience is wearing thin

And another thing: I tried to be compassionate and understanding in reference to the processor issue, that is, I suggested that was the reason I was not seeing my money.
DO NOT DO THAT as they will quickly cite it as a reason why there are problems. If a sportsbook sets a time frame for a payout they need to abide by it.

How long has it been? What sportsbooks? How many different payouts are you waiting for and give times for each. Give details man don't just start a thread accusing.
There have been no problems out of the ordinary that I have heard of. DETAIL YOUR SITUATION.
edit: wait a minute, you say "books" at first like it is more than one book then you say it is only one book.
Since the UIGEA there has been processors being shut down for every book every now and then. Again please detail your situation better.
By the way I requested a withdrawal yesterday and received it today.

I'm kinda happy that I cashed out 1700 on Monday, and received the funds today via transfer to my bank account.
Only have 300 in books right now, and kinda sitting back and gonna see what happens before I reload any. Kinda sucks that this happened all before the NBA playoffs.
I was listening to the Ferrall show on XM and he's big into gambling, and they were talking about the poker sites and how they think that the books are coming up next. But you can't take everything he says seriously, because from what I know, he doesn't deal with offshore.

After talking to different folks in poker and in gaming in general this kind of feels like Neteller 2007. You have the big-name guys flying to the US landing in the fed's backyard and you have more do-it-yourself-bankers. Neteller was essentially a bank and it looks like the poker guys literally owned at least one.
Sports betting is different business from poker. The sportsbooks already have kind of been through this. Poker money needs to constantly move in and out and the volume is high. Being able to play depends on others playing. People don't want to play cash games all day, win, and leave it there until the next time unless they are poker pros. Sports betting processing has been frozen before. It's happened to most books. A few years ago we saw Sportsbook.com take 6 months and good books took 2 or 3 at different points in time. They were books that are more than financially sound, not the WSEXs who use it as an excuse. Regardless if you think the way the law was slipped in an unrelated bill should be illegal and it was created by selfish politicians, it is a law and is illegal for US banks to move money for gaming which is a liability for bookmakers. In the past few years a lot of books are diversifying their player base so they have more stability as a business. Canada, Japan, UK and South America make up much bigger parts of their customer bases.
Seizing domains is something new to consider. I think a year or so ago a bill was passed, sold on the most flagrant online offense of all, child porn. Advocates for civil liberties and internet freedom were scared since the language didn't limit the reach to only certain types of federal offenses. We first saw the streaming sports domains confiscated (and come back up) and then wikileaks and now online poker. If this was happening years ago we wouldn't have seen the Napsters and then itunes and so on. For those assessing risk it's definitely something to consider. Just like we saw a lot of the lesser books, like the old Skybook, break or sell because of the stress of processing on their business, could your sportsbook handle the losses when going from Bodog.com to Bodoglife.com or ccTLDs... or no domain name service and just a web IP address?

These poker sites were still advertising on US soil. All the .nets were a spit in the face and seen as no different than advertising the company in general. Full Tilt was advertising with Strikeforce. Wynn had a deal with Poker Stars for when poker went legal in the US, which is happeneing. Absolute is a black eye for online poker in general and could enter the US market. What message would it send if Poker Stars, Full Tilt and Absolute had key positions in the US and huge market share as a result of skirting the law for years? They couldn't let it happen.

I pulled everything out except chump change in a few top rated books.
I think I know the ending to this novel, and nobody lives happily ever after.
In 18 months, I do believe, you'll be able to play in the States, but it'll be new rules, new game.

legitimate response...just gauging if I am the only one. i want to give them 7 days to fix the situation (its been 21) before raising an alarm....it has to be just the logistics of getting the money here. We have tried instant deposit, Check, and now we are going to try a money gram for close to 2 grand I hope it comes from someone who lives in the US otherwise I am fukced

Ryan I can't afford to lose anymore of my money I earned fair and square. I've been betting offshore for 15 yrs I'm not one to panic, but I seen the list of processors, They 100% are used from a lot of the good books. I'd love to hear something from the books or SBR so atleast we know.
