-The Redsox are hitting .115 (9-78) off of Tuesdays starter B.Anderson lifetime..

It may be safe to say this team (Athletics) has the best starting pitchers in baseball. Their bullpen is coming along and they currently have the best ERA in baseball (2.59)

They will never be a feared offense but are showing signs of putting things together on offense

-The top 3 team ERA's all belong to AL West teams:
1) A's 2.59
2) Rangers 2.83
3) Angels 2.95

-Top 5 Bullpen ERA's
1) Marlins 1.89
2) Phillies 2.15
3) Braves 2.20
4) Angels 2.30
5) Padres 2.72

-The Twins are averaging 3.1 runs a game (Oakland is the only team in the top 13 in ERA they have faced)

I think we can safely assume these teams won't be making the playoffs.

-The Marlins and Athletics are near the very bottom in HR's (8,7), but are 1-2 in doubles (38,36)

-The Royals are 10-6... They don't hit for much power, are 17th in the league in pitching, and are hitting .270 as a team...

See what aggressive base running and a league leading 19 steals can do for a team... Who is managing the Cubs by the way?? (2 steals )

-The Rays (19) and Redsox (18) have given up the most stolen bases in baseball... meanwhile the Indians (3) have given up the least...

Think this correlates with their records in any way? Do these GM's not think more than a week ahead of time? I've said all along the stolen base would become more and more important again... Theo didn't get the message.
