Ice, when the government is ready to start regulating and taxing the winnings, they will do the same thing to sportsbooks as you witnessed today with the poker sites. It will happen and of course there will be the naysayers, as Im sure there were prior to today. Matchbook leaving the US market is a dead giveaway. It is coming in time. Hope you don't lose too much when it happens.

what exactly did they do to those listed pokersites, they took over their websites; they'll be back up and fully running in less than a week.

I will be depositing and withdrawing as usual and so will anyone else that cares to. The government does not have the power to completely shut down online sportsbooks that are not based in the US and it has been proven. As long as they don't have that power books that want to deal with US customers will deal with US customers. It is a simple theory that has been proven over and over again.

ice, if thats all they had done it would be no big deal. They charged them with fraud, money laundering and illegal gambling. Issued arrest warrants with interpol. And issued restraining orders for 75 banks these sites use. So quite a bit more than just seizing some domain names.
Sportsbooks are next. You may fail to realize this or admit it, thats fine. I just recommend not keeping these books as well funded in the event this does happen. None of us foresaw this happening today and none of us will predict when it happens to the books. Just be careful is all im saying
