    Baseball Player Contracts
Where can I find information on baseball player contracts. ESPN has player salaries for the current year but I also want to know salaries for any other years of a player contract. And want to know how many years a player is signed for.

I am also curious what happens when a young player comes up from the minors. Does he automatically make the league minimum (around $400,000) for the first 3 years.

Does a player become a free agent after 3 years?

Please let me know if there are any good articles or websites on this subject.

I am primarily interested in information about the Reds. For example, do the Reds have pitcher Volquez locked up for at least 3 years making the MLB minimum?
