Since when does rain always help a defense? The pluses and minuses of mother nature equal out imo... the pitching arm of DJ Carrasco does not...

Took a few Mets overs...was surprised they were usually around 7.5, seems quite low even when quality pitchers weren't starting. Good catch.

Mets are in the top half in Runs scored and have given up the MOST in the NL. I really don't think either of those things are going to change that drastically considering RA Dickey has the teams best ERA at 4.1 and Niese has the best whip at 1.42

Overs could be busted this weekend with the rest of the series being Pelfrey vs Jair Jair (Sat) and Chris Young vs Hanson (Sun)...
