Here's the problem, the word "f\*g" isn't a homophobic slur. It's a slur against men who act like wimps. It just so happens a lot of men who act like wimps are also homosexuals. Gays took the word as an assault on their sexual orientation, when in reality, it was an assault on their physical and emotional weakness.
