Okay Astrodomer reminded me of this incident when I was younger. I grew up in H-Town and when I was a kid in the 80's Mid-South Wrestling was the STUFF! So many great ones like Jake the Snake, Fabulous Freebirds, Rock N Roll Express, Jim Duggan, Kamala, Dick Murdoch, Ted Debiase, Dr Death Steve Williams, etc. One night I got in trouble because I called the cops on Kamala because he flashed fire in the eyes of Jim Duggan. I got my but tore up for that one. I also was convinced Ric Flair killed Mike Von Erich.
Who else believed stupid stuff when they were younger?

That was when wrestling was good. It was actually believable then. It wasn't the stupid soap opera it is now. It was so damn believable then they had a 60 Minutes episode where they tried to "uncover" if it was fake. That's where I first learned about the dudes who hid razorblades in their taped fingers so they could cut their foreheads when they needed to bleed.
Those were the good ol' days.

I believed Santa brought presents, a bunny brought eggs, and a zombie god loved me. Comparatively, this wrestling shit seems kind of sane
