Sharks had 48 wins and the Kings 46 on the year. The teams split 6 games each winning 3. I get that Kopitar being out is a negative for the Kings. Sharks have the better O and the Kings have a slightly better D, but a much better penalty killing unit.

    Sharks -280
    Kings +220

    Enlighten me please.

Sharkies like to choke in the playoffs but it comes down to Jonathan Quick really.

Wouldn't back Quick/Bernier whoever the hell is in net for LA. I'll take the experienced Sharks in 5.

                    Quick isn't bad at all.

Canuck, are you worried a bit about Luongo's playoff performance from last year effecting his mind-set? I realize the guy was crazy good this season...............just asking.

Kopitar injury ends all hope for the Kings. We all know San Jose and score and I don't think Quick can shut down this offense for entire series. There's only so much Quick can do and I don't see anyone from LA stepping up to fill Anze's skates..

Kopitar, Kings best player is out...huge loss. Not to mention the Sharks have been streaking heading in and the Kings have been slumping. Maybe a little overvalued but for good reason. They want Kings money.

Seeing him in the media and reading the newspapers he said he's never felt this confident in his game. Of course it's in the back of his mind, but if they can grab Game 1 I'm sure there's no looking back. He knows this is a different Chicago team.
