#3sometimes they ask that for your safety. If you would have said you didn't know the person they would have recommended not sending it.Comment -

#11Spartan You think the receivers have ever just picked up the deposit and never reported to the sportsbook? $500 or $1k or whatever most people send in is alot for a local in nicaragua i would imagine. Im sure JJ, Bill Dozer would know Maybe Acarmelo he worked cs for a book i think. I always wondered about that i know 5dimes would probably cover it.Comment -

#20The people dealing with the receivers have the Address, Social Security, Name, Phone Number of the receiver. They will not be so stupid to ruin their life just for $1000 dollars.
If you steal from them, they will show up to your house and beat the crap out of you and your family.
It is like a Mafia.
Also if they ever get to run away from them, will you want to lose a job that is paying you just to pick funds at ** or ** once in a while?
It is a great deal for the receiver.
Some of this receivers have another Job, they may work at an office from 8 to 5 then on quick stop to pick funds at ** then go Home
That is why some books only let you send so much per transaction.Comment -

#22Yah, I'm familiar with the process. I know of a few guys here that own retail stores that are just fronts for their w.estern u.nion business, and they make a freakin killing. So that's why I was a little surprised at jpowderly's statement that nobody picks up the money and that the names are entirely computer-generated.Comment -

#28Blackbart, names on Latin American usually have 4 names
For example
Maria Luisa Hernandez Fernandez
Maria Luisa will be the name given by her parents
Hernandez will be the Fathers last name
Fernandez will be the Mothers Last Name
They have all those four names on the ID.
In Fact I have four names myself on my ID.Comment -
