The adjustment is fairly priced (total was 9.25). However this is probably a 20 cent line compared to a 10 cent or 5 cent moneyline, so it does have more vig and that is probably the only argument you can make.

However to say it is -EV after a 4-0 victory is a stretch. In fact it is just wrong. The biggest -EV bet on tonight's game is taking Yankees -1.5 on the road, there is plenty of data available showing this is one of the worst bets you can make. Squares probably lined up all over Vegas to take Yankees -1.5.

This guy went the other way, taking a long shot for more glory.
