#2Ill be brief. Im a well rounded poker player and dont bet sports. Half of my yearly income comes from it...and the answer is absolutely sports betting.
People are getting bwtter and better and your edge in higher stakes poker(5/10+) is very small. With sports betting you dont have much competition if what you do works consistently.Comment -

#6POKER by far! Poker I am betting on myself with no guessing involved. Poker gives me huge opportunities for zip with millions virtually being giving away. With poker I am risking nothing while making 6 digits besides traveling the world. With poker I have no fears and every day is progressive. It is alot of hours besides work, but all in fun.Comment -

#30I like both. I think it's cooler to be a good poker player, but I'd rather not deal with the things that go on in poker games. I can't stand going on downswings where nothing is holding up or nothing is hitting and losing to people whose play is inexplicable and absolutely atrocious. I cannot believe what kind of garbage people pull off. I'm tired of either getting knocked out of tournaments with the best of it or having a chance to really boost myself in a tournament and losing every big confrontation with a better hand. I've basically stopped playing for 5 months. Just don't want to deal with the people. I literally hate them. I've hated them more since I started to get into poker theory because it's fcked. I don't really want to start playing again until I can just deal with different styles of play, whether good or atrocious. Just got to learn to accept it.
So yeah, I definitely would rather be good at sports betting.Comment -

#33Depends. Poker is not like what it use to be when Paradise Poker was still in the U.S in 2006. Then, you had thousands of people playing daily, so pots were bigger and their were more tournaments. I have taken 1st place twice a Paradise Poker for close to 2k each time battling 300+ people, including 1k for 2nd place. I've have made it to the final tables at least 20 times from a span of 2005 to 2006.
The thing about poker is that you could easily go on long droughts before even making it to the finals. The key thing is making it to the Final table. Once in the Finals, anything possible because you easily go from 10th $100 to 1st $2K. I know for certain, I have lost less in poker than sports betting.Comment -

#35I other thing I forgot to note about poker. The other reason why I will never play poker again is because it take too much time out of your life. To win a big tournament for 1k plus takes about a good 4-5 hours, and you can't miss a hand because you might not get it again.
This is why sports betting is more preferable. Put your plays in and go do whatever.Comment
