i would say no play.. seems like the lakers are comfortable right where they stand now and as long as the bench can keep it close or ahead, i think the starters continue to get more rest. they didn't look like they even wanted it last night. then they have 3 games in 5 nights.. blazers, thunder, and spurs to play at home. tough call here... and i think i am being influenced heavily by last nights performance. if they came out strong against any team it should have been the jazz last night.

Lakers are perfectly content sitting in the 2 spot with a potential 2nd round match-up with their bitch......the Mavs. The 1 spot most likely draws a 2nd round match-up with the Thunder (whom can cause some problems for the Lakers).

I don't think so, if you saw Phil earlier, he didn't give a ******* damn about the game. Plus Bynum and Gasol have been hurting in the past few games, knowing Phil, he will rest them since they have the number 2 seed locked.

not really jj. lakers finished last regular season average. Lost games at home to blaxers and spurs, clippers, smashed in atlanta and thunder. Tried when they wanted to. Then they were the best team when it mattered.

thats a good call. Youre right. Phil knows a series with the thunder would be tiring as theyre very fast and match up well with L.A even tho the lakers have had their measure. Theyd rather the mavs. Nice call bro

btw i wouldnt back the lakers here. Only just beat them last meeting in GS thanks to kobe's last 5 minutes. 17 points or so. Lakers won by 5. Golden state cover and probably win imo. As some have mentioned if they rock up as they did vs utah theyll get flogged. Its just hard to know which lakers side shows up. If they want to play theyll win. If they show even the slightest of disinterest theyll get chopped.
Dont bet on the lake show. I'd only do it if it were live.

sir.
i dont really think you can call it a "bounce back", they lost by 1 point, it's not like they were crushed by 20 points and ran home with their tails between their legs.
lakers win tonight thats how the nba script was written.

you can call it a bounce back losing on your home floor to probably the 2nd worst team in the nba.

I guess having the home field advantage in the playoffs over Boston and Miami does not matter

The Lakers own GS. This is a 100% win. Will they cover? I'm pretty damn sure. But no way in hell they lose.

Thibodeau is hungrier than Phil Jackson. Chicago Bulls will defeat the LA Lakers in the Finals. Mark it.

Lakers win big tonight. Too much size for GS, I expect for them to get out to a big lead and rest the starters. But enough to cover.

At the current line (Lakers -6) L.A. won't cover. Win but no cover.

Kobe ticked nothing. He's a bad actor. Laid BIG 2H Jazz last night, then told my date they will win 4Q, probably by a FT.
Then turned around and ate dinner, if I wanted to see bad acting, I'd watch a movie.
Date was "so surprised" that Lakers blew it 2H and lost by 1.
That's the power of Kobe-wan!

2nd seed is wrapped up, lakers dont give a shit
they might try in the first half since they got embarassed, but that's it.
