Maddux finally gets 350th career win
I'm glad to see that he finally reach this milestone achievement. I also think this will be the last 350 game winner we will see in our lifetimes, because nobody is even close nor are on pace to reach it.

So am I Dan I knew he would get it but I didn't think he would take this long.

I lost over 3 dimes trying to root on him. I had to bet 4,800 today just to make money. If he lost tonight I would have been on a break for a while, I chased him.

Your right no one will come close nor do the young guys have the ethics he does to continue and practice for a long time.

Thought Zito would get there for sure, turns out he's content with 113 lifetime wins.

I think you're right Dan. I think Sabathia maybe could get 300 if he stuck it out but not 350.

          Dan,
You're probably correct. Randy Johnson is about 14 or so away from 300. He clearly doesn't have 55 victories left in him to get to 350. Mussina is about 45 away from 300 and he clearly doesn't have another 100 victories in him to get to 350. And after those two, there is no one even close.

Now, I'm not williing to say "never". There are some good young pitchers out there and it may be 15-20 years before we see another one...
