You need 3 things to make money betting sports:

1. A good sized bankroll. I would recommend $50,000 with bonuses or $100,000 with no bonuses if you don't wish to have a job too.
2. Multiple books.
3. Ability not to overbet.

You can make money in sports betting if you can learn to read markets reasonably accurately. I don't "pick winners" I purely pick what will probably win more often than its current price. In any given game anything can happen.

All good information here. My opinion is that you can get started with a $20K bankroll making $200 bets if......very important, you have a woman in the house who works a real job.

Gambling is bad. Just play with SBR points so you won't get mad when you lose all your real money. Plus some books are terrible for payouts. If you HAVE to gamble, use A+ books only.
