Best Free Video Editing/Making Computer Software?

All i have right now is windows movie maker and ive never used it.

It any good?

What are the other options?

Movie maker is ok for basic stuff. I use Pinnacle. but its like 500.00 when I got it. I got it for free, but thats just because someone had a set of keys for me. They have multiple keys to register.

Adobe is pretty common as well. But nothing that is "good" is free. Just buy Pirated copies/keys.
