Is there a way to hook up a dv camera to your computer though the USB port?

I there a connection you can buy that hooks up your dv camera (records to 8mm) to your computer? Im thinking maybe a split that goes from red/yellow out to usb in?

I need sound and audio so i cant go through s video

Im trying to get footage off my camera onto my comp but i dont have cables that enable it. All these people puting youtube videos up so i know theres a way i just dont know what it is.
