Is the line of Yankees -162/Tigers +142 for today's game a fair line? Does it really have any correlation with what is happening and why?

I think you need to take these sort of questions into account before you place a bet.

It's obvious the odds sometimes don't have much correlation to the game, or at least the outcome.
