It is 500 points. If so, they suck badly. I guess the sportsbook is losing points, but MLB have higher limits than hockey on most sportsbook,, so I see no reason to have half the limits here.

NHL's limit was too high this season, but we're leaving it in place throughout the playoffs to be consistent.

At the beginning of each season, you will be able to visit the Sportsbook Rules section for updated limits. Limits on major American sports leagues may be increased through the course of a season, but will not be lowered for anyone.

I think he means a $50 (500 points) max wager is ridiculously low, esp. for such a major sport.

Understood, but I'm saying it's not an if. That's what it is.

yeah its 500! I was trying to go big on a game the other day, and had to place 500 with Thad, 500 with SBR and was going to place another 500 with Mex, to try to get big, but then decided to go a different route and lost it all. But 500 max it is.

Sorry for my dumb editing. I typed first "I think it is 500. If if is the case...". But before submitting I checked it, trying to place a 1000 points wager, but it was not allowed stating the 500 limit. So, I changed the first phrase to "It is 500", but forgot to change the second one.

Anyway, to me it is clear thar SBR is lowering the limits. Last year NCAAF was 2000, now it is 1000. NHL at 1000 seems normal, compared to NBA 2000. MLB at 500 is really low; it amounts to 1/10th of the "recreational" books limits. And that is using 20 cents lines...

Let me speculate a little. SBR is fed up of being hit by the sharps with the unreliable lines (sometimes not updating or slow to move), so they are lowering the limits. For the summer, I guess most sharps would not bother trying to beat the "20 cents lines + $50 limit" MLB. So, SBR can confidently keep offering the book as a service for the guys making bets for fun.
