yeah Nadal has a big lead in the H2H but that was when Joker was Feds and Rafas red headed step child. Joker is off to one of the greatest starts ever in a season and as much as I don't care for the guy, you have to give props when props are due and Joker deserves some credit; reason line is so low, the guy is finally getting recognized and IMO this match is a coin flip with a slight lean to Joker wining 60 percent of the time.Originally posted by Nats' FanComment -

We still don't know nadals real physical condition, and he could have lost that berdych match very easily. Don't get me wrong , I love Nadals enthusiasm at this tourney and he very well could win this match. He is playing much better than at indian wells, and no matter the outcome, you know a player like Nadal will give 100%. The injury is not in his serving arm and doesnt seem to have made much of a difference in this tourney, his serve was what was killing him at Indian wells I thought. But don't base any big wager on the federer match, djokovic is a far more aggressive player and can cause a ton of problems for nadal on hard courts.
If this was clay, I would be wagering large on Nadal. If Djokovic loses tommorow, it will be from falling behind and mentally falling behind as well, but Djokovic is the greatest player in the world right now.Comment -

Nats fan I think a lot of people are ooing and ahhing over Nadals beat down of an unmotivated Fed and thus think Nadal is the play but you're going against the hottest player in tennis with someone who may be injured and who has lost 5 of 8 hard court matches against in his career vs Joker. Novak is 5-3 on hard courts vs Rafa career and most of those matches are from when Novak was far more mentally weak than now. Now he is eating his opponents for breakfast. He has not lost a set in the tournament or a match all year. He is red hot and healthier than Rafa and holds a lifetime hard court edge. I think the play is Novak or nothing.Comment -

there is also the "revenge"factor of losing to djokovic at indian wells. whatever it is both players will be giving 100% especially nadal. it will be hot during the match in miami and that gives nadal a slight edge.
