Do Sportsbooks log your Modem Address?

    Do Sportsbooks log your Modem Address?
    Sorry if the thead title is confusing. I'm not PC-literate but I know that sportsbooks log your PC address (IP address?) but do they also log an address from your broadband modem?
    I'm just curious, I'm not involved in anything shady!

    Yes and no. bodog flagged my account when my billing state did not match my ip address as it usually can be traced both State and County. I'm not sure is Modem address is available

      This is interesting because I was thinking of using a relatives address for a horse racing book site. None accept anyone from the state of New Jersey. But also I use computers in different states to log in to my other books without any problems so what if I just used my relatives computer to set up the account and then go from there. Would this work?
