World Cup 2010 Final: 24.3 million viewers in US with an ABC rating of 8.1 rating in the middle of the day.

The NHL can beat out MLS ratings, but not Soccer in the real sense.

It is oblivious that the US has a significant following of top level soccer. World Cups and Champions League Finals rate better than any thing the NHL can put out there.
