 #7True, but at this point, he's a "no". I'll never look back and say "Man, that Jorge Posada was one hell of a ballplayer." He won some rings and played on a historically potent offense which enabled him to boost his numbers a tad, but in my opinion he's not there yet.  #9Posada has a career WARP around 80. Ted Simmons was in the high 90s and Joe Torre a bit above 100 and they weren't elected, although Posada did play on a bunch of championship teams. If he doesn't decline too badly and has a few more solid years like his past few, he should get in.Comment

 #13Even as a Yanks fan I say no to this one. I don't even put Posada close to Munson and even he's borderline in my book. In order to be a hall of fame catcher you have to make your pitching staff better and I don't think Posada has done that.Comment
