    Do you enjoy watching baseball?
I don't really, sometimes i'm in the mood, but for the most part i really just think it's pretty boring, although i think i will have to start watching and following it, since well, NBA and NHL will be done soon, what else is there to bet?

any of you hate watching baseball, but follow it and bet it anyways?

baseball is by far my fav sport. i could watch baseball 24 hrs a day if it was possible, and still not be bored. however, i must have money on it, or i can't watch it. i just can't watch anymore sports unless i have cash riding on it. I just find baseball very relaxing and laid back.. it's also played in summer when the weather is great.. how can anyone not love baseball.

I don't really like watching baseball on tv, but I love going out to the ballpark to catch the games live.

I'm excited, the news talks about em and stuff. I'm sure once this series starts and the flyers do ok and stuff we'll start hearing a lot around, i heard a few horns back in g7 vs the caps in the 1st round with that ot win

and there wasn't much sweat vs the habs...that was a quick series ya know?

but a lot of people been talking about how crazy it is the flyers got this far, no one expected it, so it's a little shocking!

Haven't been hearing much as of late though, since flyers haven't played in about a week, but i would say philly is deft a hockey town, any home team doing good here is big, since well....eagles died down since the superbowl, and so did the sixers, and we lost both championship and the superbowl, so we are always excited and happy when ever we get a chance to play for a title!

from 1989 to 1999 i loved baseball, because me and my dad collected ball cards of every player known to man kind.to me baseball is more of a chess match, than any other sport that i know off.it sounds stupid, because i collected cards i knew every bodys rotation.knowing that i never had al osing season.to me its boring now, because i bet areana, and basketball, and it makes baseball even that more slower.i havent betted baseball in 7 years, and i hardly know any of the players.i have found that sbr has better pickers than the rx,and eog combined.iam trying to learn from these guys, but its hard. iam alot like you that i need to hurry up and learn ,and because of basketball coming to an end shortly.maybe we can all help one another.

About as exciting as watching grass grow, especially when compared to hockey.

But the D-backs commentators make it more interesting, by analyzing every pitch, and how they relate to each other for getting each out. Courtesy of Mark Grace.

Vin Scully is definitely a legend in his own right. But, if you wanna talk about throwback, let's talk about Mr. Bob Sheppard.

It's tough sometimes, that's for sure, and I've been watching for 35 years...A great game is tough to turn away from, though. Games 4,5 and 6 of the Yankees-RedSox series in 2004 come to mind there, as I was basically glued to the TV on every pitch. Obviously it also depends on your rooting interests as well, be it as a fan of a team playing or an individual with cash riding on the outcome, as others have pointed out.....

Probably my favorite sport to watch. I do love football too, however. Basketball is a much more boring sport to watch in my opinion. A bunch of freaks of nature taller than skyscrapers jumping 3 inches off the ground around a metal ring... The end of games is so exciting too. 27 minutes of commercials for 13.2 seconds of play. YAWN. Basketball is such a simple game. Its why kids can come out of high school and START on an NBA squad. You'll almost never see that in baseball. It takes far too much skill, precision, conditioning, and concentration to play in the majors. It may be boring to some because the players are so good that they make things LOOK easy.

                                                dark horse,

you love hockey the most? well, i know nothing about you, but i am willing to lay odds that you are Canadian.. if not, then you'd be the 1st american ever to say hockey is his fav sport.. and the reason why you find baseball boring is because you don't understand the game fully. believe me, i know this for a fact. everyone i know who says baseball is boring, don't understand it. it is such a strategic game. you have to know a player bunted the runner to 3rd.. you have to know why a guy hit a ground ball to 2nd to move the runner over. you have to understand a pitcher coming in with a 3-2 curveball and fool the pitcher who was waiting for the fastball. only real baseball fans find baseball exciting. if you're not a real fan, you will never like baseball.

it's like chess for me. i think it's the most boring game ever.. that's because i don't understand it fully. maybe if i understood it perfectly, i might like it. that's why everyone says chess is boring. it's exactly like baseball.

I just find baseball very relaxing and laid back.. it's also played in summer when the weather is great.. how can anyone not love baseball.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly but I can watch my favorite team with no money on them.

Lets face it, it's all personal opinion. The OP said he likes to watch hockey. I wouldnt watch hockey if you paid me $10 an hour to watch it. I seriously LOL'd at the hockey "wow factor" line.

And to be honest, I've tried MANY times to get into hockey. And everytime I want to just stick my head in a vice after following a black object the size of a bagel around the rink.

Baseball is by far my favorite sport.

Agreed. Unless it is my teams I have liked my whole life then I watch those Other than that I have a hard time watching anything unless I got action on it.

Baseball is a dying breed on tv, going to the park is still cool though. I watch it more in the summer and during playoffs.

I actually prefer listening to games on the radio, but have no problem watching them on tv.

Dead on being at the park is a great way to spend the day or night throwing back a few beers and relaxing in the nice weather as for TV only at playoff time or with a big play on the game
