He's made the final table and had numerous runs to the final. It's rare for a human being to even make the final more than once. WSOP is like a lottery, the fact that he keeps outplaying people to go deep proves he is the best poker player alive.

not to mention he's pro at all types of poker, and probably the greatest cash game player.
