Get ready for a lot more of this. I think last year began with about 25 blown saves in the first month. Bet 1st 5 innings

That was a terrible way to lose..thought I had Brewers ML in the bag once Axford was coming in.

in axford's defense, it was that fatass mcgehee who gave them 2 extra outs when missed the tag at 3rd and threw late to 1st. could have got a sure out or even turned the double play had he just thrown to 2nd.

Would never have drafted him if I knew this. My fantasy team is toast.

You were screwed from the beginning. You drafted a brewers closer.

Axford did his best Trevor Hoffman impersonation. Early last season Trevor time was "blown save" time - he was BRUTAL!

I was on the Brewers today also with a little bet, but that's the "fun" of baseball, games are never over until the last out. Although it's awesome when it works out in your favor.

Such a sick beat for Brewers backers to start the year.. I wasn't one of them, and made money today thanks to the Dodgers, but man, I already hate baseball again. F this sport.

same thing happen with cardinals. 2 outs and bang, padres home run, then padres win in extra innings.

took sick beat on BREWERS but then i had the PADRES, and they hit a home run down in the ninth with 2 outs to tie, and then eventually win, so it evened out. crazy first day of nailbiters for me.

Axford was pretty solid last year. Umps blew it. There was a rookie ump in the game. First MLB game ever. I though he ran out of the baseline when Mcgee attempted to tag him, which should be an out. Great way to start the season.

anyone that runs around McGhee is obviously
out of the baseline.
