I don't think lesnar will beat jds, and I'd much rather see jds vs cain than cain vs brock. It's also a little awkward having such contrasting coaches who are fairly one dimensional coach against each other.

jds trains bjj. he is a mixed martial artist not a boxer

lesnar is just a wrestler with a little bag of tricks... not to say he doesn't have a chance in the fight

Yeah it's not like he's a former NCAA D1 wrestler who went 106-5 over 4 years, not like he's a former UFC champ that actually defended the belt a few times. What a waste...shoulda got Pat Barry to coach against JDS.

But really, the guy is a "coach" on the show, not a "trainer", he will have trainers for that. I think he'll make a good coach as well, he's a mental giant.

Guys, don't underestimate how much a good wrestling base is needed in MMA. Cain V has one of the best wrestling bases in MMA being a 3 time div 1 all american and Brock will always struggle against excelent wrestling based fighters. I honestly dont think JDS pops up as fast as Cain V if brock get him down. JDS will need to TKO Lesnar in order to win that fight imo. This fight is very EV imo.

Yeah I think it all depends on BRock's cardio for this one, I have no doubt that he will get JDS down but it's just whether he has the cardio to hold him down or to keep gettin him down.

yes sir. agree. If JDS can get up and out of brocks takedown quickly, he wins imo. JDS's striking is FAR better than brock's. Night and day! Brock need to keep this on the ground and drop a few lunch boxes on JDS's face and maybe daze him a bit to end it on the ground. Brock's only shot imo. I don't think JDS lets a big right come in like Herring or Couture did against Brock. JDS wins if he can get it to the 2nd and third round and stay out of a wrestling/off the fence type of fight.

Agreed...I wouldn't be worried about brock as a coach. I was impressed with Brock not only looking at the fighters skills but was looking at why they were there, where their mindset was at. The guy has skills and his trainers have skills, it's going to be a great season I think
