As far as rosters locking......transactions are processed on Sunday mornings and lineups lock on Mondays. I set the transactions to go through again on Monday morning at 11am, in case you got outbid for your guy on Sunday and need to pick up an emergency guy. If that's the case and you have a guy picked up on Monday, you have an hour to put him in your lineup if there is a 12 oclock Monday game. That's just common sense and it's on you.

As always, if you PM me because you cant get him in the lineup, I can fix it for you.....but try not to make it a habit, as a few did last year. Actually it was two guys and neither are in the league this year.....the guys remaining seem to have gotten it pretty well.

Don't forget to set lineups for tomorrow guys. Early game at 11:05am tomorrow. Espn Allows 11am to be the earliest time transactions run, so if you pickup a guy tomorrow, you'll need to PM me if you want him in your lineup.

Whenever a guy is dropped, he must sit out a week before another team picks him up. Waivers are run a few times a week, and you can bid money on the free agents. You have 100 dollars at the beginning of the season and when you run out of those....youre out, so budget wisely. You can however, choose to bid 0 dollars on a guy if you choose.....of course someone else will get him though if they bid 1.

If a guy hasnt been on a team in a week, then you could put in for him today. Waivers run every sunday morning at 11am. So if you want a guy that wasnt drafted...or wasnt on someones team last week, you should put a claim on him and he will be picked up tomorrow.

Waivers run every sunday and again on Monday at 11am, for those guys that need someone but were outbid on Sunday. If you pick up a guy Monday, make sure you put him in before the first games start or PM me to do it. If you have any questions or issues feel free to PM me and I will explain it all again...it's confusing if youve never played a league with a waiver process.

i don't remember who scooped up robertson but they bid like $15.

so if you put in a waiver claim less then that for him you lost out.

go to the league home page

click "free agent auction report" (link is under the list of recent league activity.)

from there you can see all the pick-ups, drops, as well as the owners who had unsuccessful claims for that day.

Ya I saw that I got outbid, but from what wv said(maybe I misunderstood it) is that if a player has been a FA for the entire season, then you could add him and he would be on your team the next day.

So time really does not matter at all then? All that matters is the bid amount for that player, regardless of anything??

no, time of waiver claim doesn't matter, only the bid amount (unless two or more owners bid the same amount, then the owner with the higher/highest waiver order designation will pick up the player bid upon).

waiver claims only process on sundays and mondays, i believe at 11am. so if you bid for a guy on tuesday (and lets say its successful) he will not be added to your roster until sunday, and obviously wont be available for insertion into your lineup until monday. Wv designated mondays in case an owner had holes to fill on their roster but lost out on claim on sunday (like your situation).

so basically if you find out sunday that you had some unsuccessful claims, and you have roster gaps to fill, use sunday afternoon to pick players and put in claims.

of course that too doesn't guarantee you'll get that player come monday if another owner puts in a higher bid.

and whether a player is dropped from another owner's team or never drafted it doesn't matter, its processed all the same. I think you could've picked players immediately in that timeframe between the draft and the start of the regular season.

EDIT:

I see your confusion. what Wv was saying that if a player was never on a team you can put your Waiver Claim in that day because he doesn't have to clear waivers. When a player is dropped from an owner's team you have to wait a week to put a Waiver Claim on that player.

for the sake of clearing up confusion im gonna throw out an example:

lets say today i decide to drop JJ Putz. I make the move today, and it processes Sunday 5/13. Lets say you, jnic, want to put in a claim for him. you'd have to wait until 5/20 to make a claim on him, with the hope of retrieving for monday. After 5/20, he's available to be claimed cuz he cleared waivers.
