A first ballot HoFer no doubt. This guy is amazing even in his later years. Im glad I was able to see a great player like this in person at the games for the past so many years. I got to see Murphy playing in ATL but I was a small kid. I really grew up watching Chipper.Comment -
dale murphy was of the greatest braves that ever played.great outfielde,and hitter.he played the game the way it should be played.i will allways remember when he got traded to the philies,atlanta tried to pump up dave justice.they said there was finaly justice in atlanta.i will always be mad at atlanta for not letting murphy retire in atlanta,he deserved better.chipper is a going to be a first ballot hof.
