    rules for becoming a PRO
Am i getting this right? You need to follow SBR'S LINK to open an account with one of the LISTED books, deposit $200 and voila?!!
What if u already have an account with pretty much every accredited book on that list? If u already had an account and IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME u deposited? Do u still qualify? Plus, if i dont feel like giving my money to some of the books listed on that list? IS THAT A REQUIREMENT TO FIRST USE THE SBR'S LINK, AND THEN DEPOSITING $200? Can u just have over $200 in the account listed on SBR's pro application(from REAL DEPOSIT+WINNINGS) like it was just a few months back? i AM REFUSING TO PUT MY MONEY WITH SOME OF THE BOOKS LISTED...What do i do?

Yes, they changed the rule you have to open a new account at one of the books listed.

u really cant understand what im asking? If u CAN, would you be kind and let me know what i CAN DO? I have no problems clicking the link, depositing, etc...But i ALREADY HAVE EXISTING ACCOUNTS, and had them for quite some time....It is also NOT A FIRST TIME I DEPOSITED....So whats my option here? The only sites i dont have an account with are BOOKMAKER, and some others that dont accept US players, and im not trusting BOOKMAKER...To me, they are an average book, certainly not deserving the A rating

I have answered your question xkgb. If bookmaker is the only book that you have not deposited at and you are dead set against it maybe you should email a Lou and see if they will cut you a break and let you deposit into one of your existing accounts.

You must create a new sportsbook account using these links:

here is a small print which makes things more confusing
                          • Players must create a new account and make a first time deposit of $200 or more to one of the SBR Forum sponsors.

                          • Players who have already signed up at all listed sportsbooks prior to March 1st, 2011 should send an email to GoPro@sbrforum.com for possible accommodations.

                          • The $200 must be present in your sportsbook account at the time you submit this form in order to be eligible for the SBR Pro upgrade. The $200 must be made up of a real-money deposit or winnings resulting from a real money deposit. Free cash or contest winnings do not apply.

Now, if i dont want to OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT +DEPOSIT $200 WITH BOOKMAKER, for instance thats on this list i wont be accepted for PRO? Can i go with AN EXISTING ACCOUNT? iF IT IS NOT the first time i deposit $200 in the account do i qualify? I dont know what else to add to this, but if anyone from SBR read this, whould you please CLARIFY, what are my options with preexisting accounts, and if not a first time depositor...thx

They really screwed some people over with these new rules. I already have accounts at the books that are sponsored that I like, so I might not be able to renew if i have to open an account with someone like JustBet and deposit $200. Not Worth it.

I'm making a bold guess here that less Pros are going to renew when renewals are due. I have accounts into 10 of the books listed and I'm very happy with them so I don't see a reason to sign up for a new book that is not on my top list. Is there a reason of having 16 different accounts?

Agreed. I have had accounts at SIA, Bet Jam, The Greek, and currently have $$ in Pinnacle. Looks like I will be a pro for only a year

I hope so because it doesn't makes any sense otherwise. 99% of Pros have an account with Bookmaker or 5Dimes. Why would these sponsors want the Pros who deposited with them last year to renew as Pros and send their $200 to another lesser book?

Back when i became pro. U only needed 200$ wirth of deposit OR winnings from a deposit. Not sure how these vhanged these days. Ive turned pro long time ago.

Just Boycott SBR, what a dumbass rule

you're basically being charged a $200 annual fee when you're forced to deposit into a book you don't like.

I've given up becoming a PRO. I already have accounts at all of the sponsored sportsbooks that accept United States players except for RebateWager, and their deposit options suck. I'm not going to waste my time. I've never deposited at some of the sportsbooks I have accounts with, but from what I understand, you have to sign up through the link. The hell with it!
