it depends on which stats you're looking at. IIRC Westbrook is a better rebounder and has slightly more assists per game than Rose, and I think Westbrook has more steals. He also finishes at the rim better. (probably because he dunks while Rose always attempts fancy-ass reverse lay ups)

Rose is a better shooter, a better blocker, he turns the ball over less, he's a better leader, he's more efficient, more clutch...

so it depends on which stats you look at

And when Dirk was out the Mavs record was terrible. They would easily have the best record in the NBA if Dirk and Caron never got hurt.

The Bulls have missed their 2nd and 3rd best players for a combined 54 games (Boozer and Noah) and the Bulls are still an elite team thanks in large part to Rose.

And when Rose was out for the Bulls they are 0-1 and 0-5 over the last 2 years. They would easily be fighting for a playoff spot instead of sitting at the top spot in the conference if Derrick Rose got hurt.
