Yes. He played soccer when he was in college.

I knew he had no shot as a starter....but it's one hell of an accomplishment to make the reserves. As much as I hate the guy's antics in the NFL...gotta give him props on the athleticism

He's only had trials, and from the trials, he's had shots on target, and over the bar. He needs time, and the however long the lockout of the NFL is, is how long he'll get.

Yeah, I only could find short 3-5 second clips of him during the tryout, but nothing to make any real judgement on.

He probably doesnt have the stamina to be a starter. But I bet hes the fastest player on the field when he plays.

on the espn story the coach said he was gonna get 25-45 mins of playing time in the reserve match. Chad was ecstatic...you can really tell he loves soccer. (he said it is his favorite sport to play, although he is better at football)

The dude works very hard at everything he tries. He is only gonna get better. Kinda doubt he will become a starter though

He also mentioned that this isn't a publicity stunt or anything...and honestly, i believe him. The guy just wants to play

I think one of the articles mentioned that he's likely to be cut after the trial; hopefully he impresses in the game later today.

Between the publicity and the fact he could probably play in the reserves, the whole thing works out for everyone. Whatever, his skills are declining as a receiver, he should try to play MLS.

omg i saw some clips and he looks like shit . theyre just using him for publicity . You need good balance to play soccer and theres no way he has that.
