    MO, question re flyes
Been doin' em forever but today my left wrist phucken hurt throughout my chest flyes. WTF?! Didn't hurt on incline BP, flat BP, dips, mil press, upright rows or pressdowns -- only on flyes. I might have to cut em out for a while. Phuck! They really tear my chest up though.

the flyes would be the only one of those where your wrist wouldn't be completely locked. you could try doing the flies on the cable or on the machine, im sure you gym has a fly machine. just rest'em and you'll be good to go. you don't want to do the same thing every time anyway. do you do incline flyes ever?

you'll be fine, a wrist wrap may help you if you've been increasing in weight.

        that is excellent.

what are you at, height, weight, and your lifts.

here is something to try. do a set of something, walk directly over to a cardio machine and work hard on it for 45-50 seconds burning 13-15 calories, walk to a clear area and do 25-30 push ups, then do 50 crunches. get some water and repeat that 10 times or so without much break. its a different kind of program, something you could mix in once a week or do for a month if you wanted. it gets a good sweat, works a lot of muscle groups, and gets a lot out of your time. the quick 'burst' work is good for cutting and not losing as much muscle with your cardio.

Sounds crossfit-esque to me. I will definitely try this shit, mo! Love crossfit training so can't wait.

          Not too strong.

I'm 5'10" and 180. Max bench is 345 for 2 reps. Squat is 380 for 3 reps and deadlift (traditional -- not that cheat sumo bullshit) is 495. Hoping to break 500 on the DL this summer.

Not at all, mo. I'm the mildest dude you'll ever meet. My cyber personality though is pretty psycho

i strengthened my legs the Mike mentzer way, blasting them to absolute failure on leg extensions and immediately pounding out squats. i occasionally will do a breathing squat workout (hardest wo ever for me -- just brutal!).

i really don't push myself all that hard in the gym, i just try to maintain. i benched 390 a couple weeks back, but i fell off that already. eating/drinking habits are not always what they should be.

                how old are ya buzzy?

holy crap brotha! 4500-5000 calories a day? you must go nuts in the gym, how long are you in there a day? its got to be tough to keep the bf that low and the strength that high. I take long breaks, check scores, and don't each very well. i take no supplements, no shakes, and drink a lot of beer. Do you take anything?
