Correct, no betting is required. Choosing the team gives you a free futures bet and the opportunity to receive bonuses for betting on that team's games during the season.

I'm annoyed with Bodog because they ran a very misleading March Madness casino promotion and cost me money, but this free bet is a nice, no strings attached, offer.

a lot of times bodog's futures list the first team on the list as the competitor for whatever reason.

Well, when you factor in the juice on the futures market, the offer is really only about $7 for free (a guess not an exact number), but still its dumb to complain about free money. If his time was really so valuable that he can't take 1 minute to get $7 for free why is he wasting 1 minute reading & responding to this thread?

well yes when i checked my pending bets i read the ticket and it stuck out to me as odd

hurry up guys.
if the future is off the board before your bet is available, i would try to call them an hour or so before the first games tomorrow and get them to hand write a future ticket for the free $10.
